Policy & Annual report

Overall objective

The aim of the foundation is to promote the social bonding of involuntary migrants with their current environment and to contribute to their general mental wellbeing. For the purpose of advocacy, dissemination of knowledge and mobilisation of resources, the foundation focuses on individuals, groups, communities (neighbourhoods, municipalities, origin groups, etc.) and institutions (social, political). To this end, it uses innovative and creative means and methods, in addition to the usual ones. Where possible, the foundation bases itself on scientific findings or helps to generate them. Furthermore, everything that is directly or indirectly related to this or can be conducive to it, all in the broadest sense of the word. The foundation works both nationally and internationally and does not have the aim to make profit.

Policy plan

Laguna Collective was established as a foundation on 15 May 2019. In its first year of existence, the organization will mainly focus on:

  • Expanding the collective by identifying and inviting relevant participants
  • Further development of an attractive and informative website
  • Building brand awareness and orientation towards cooperation with organisations in the Netherlands and abroad 
  • Developing two to three innovative project ideas
  • Holding a meeting to present and discuss initial project ideas, and setting up implementation groups
  • Carrying out presentations and training from existing expertise, particularly in the psychological/psychosocial field 
  • Raising and managing funds and/or funds for the aforementioned activities
Annual report
 
The Laguna Collective Foundation was founded in May 2019. The first annual report will be made available online in the second quarter of 2020. The financial statements will be included in this report.

Annual reports

The Laguna Collective Foundation was founded in May 2019. The first annual report covers 2019 and 2020 and is available in Dutch only.
